we keep shipping at Strike
yesterday we turned on fiat card on-ramps for Mexico, Brazil, India, Vietnam, and Guatemala
today we released sending to Lightning Addresses. you can send fiat or bitcoin to a Lightning Address with Strike. here is a demo where I send @npub1qny…95gx $10 from my bank account to his Lightning Address. we aren’t far away from cross-currency payments over the internet looking like sending an email over the internet
Strike Africa, Strike EU, Strike LatAm coming up next. looking to ship Africa before Christmas
stay humble, stack shipping 🚢🛳️⛴️ https://v.nostr.build/8KPa.mp4

Strike getting bull run ready as SBF goes to jail. let’s fucking go
for those outside the US, for the first time in my career, i now get to start a blog about letting you buy bitcoin through strike!
yo, that’s me. im trying.
currently, if i did, everything i’ve built would be shut down and i’d be locked up for most of my life, unfortunately
there are small wins. like those that are looking for a easy bridge from fiat to bitcoin globally, Strike can fight the good fight and offer the best option for bitcoiners possible. for example, you’re correct, our global wallet doesn’t really have KYC to get started (only KYC when you wanna link with fiat)
i dream of a day Strike is big enough to work on all sorts of things with all sorts of optionality. we’ll get there. for now, if you don’t want KYC, i’d just not use Strike or any other regulated products. beauty of an open network
