PoW WoW v0.1 is out!
It is a distributed marketplace for event PoW.
Anyone can be a client, offering to buy PoW for their event. And anyone can be a provider, selling hashrate.
A reputation system based on past trade behavior punishes dishonest clients or providers. For example, a client who creates requests but doesn't pay gets a bad reputation. Similarly, a provider who delivers a blinded solution which, after payment and unblinding, turns out to have less bits of PoW than asked by the client, also gets a negative reputation.
There are 3 clients available: WASM, CLI, and a Gossip fork. A CLI provider is available for those who want to try out mining.
Check it out at https://lab.oak-node.net/powwow

You are right, the 'at' paradigm is present elsewhere, and it is always connected to the fact that the user is included, with his data, in that domain.tld system.
But Nostr is decentralized, the user identity and data are disconnected from the NIP-05 domain, this is just a proxy to the npub and some additional informations. Actually, I can have more NIP-05 too.
I don't know, I understand we are exiting a comfort zone, but I think it's worth thinking about now.

The kids had a question yesterday that I could not answer, so I asked the Alpaca AI:
$ Why are human breasts closer to the head while the breast of other mammals are closer to the butt?
The positioning of a mammal's breasts is determined by their anatomy and physiology. Human females have larger, more developed bre
asts than most other animals due to our evolutionary adaptation for childbearing. This means that human breast tissue develops earlier in the female embryo’s development, resulting in them being closer to the head compared to those of other mammals which tend to be further down towards their tail end as they are not adapted for nursing young like humans have evolved over time.
Not really convincing,,,

Just as we've been spreading the gospel of #Bitcoin, it's time to raise awareness about the looming threat of digital surveillance by governments. Don't let your hard-earned money fall victim to the watchful eyes of Big Brother. It's our responsibility to protect our privacy and secure our financial sovereignty, not just for ourselves, but for future generations. The future is in our hands, let's make it a private one.

#780407 - for the longest time i've prayed God for justice. For so long, 20 years everyday i prayed. I really believed then that the pendulum will swing, "a day for them and a day for us", that -- as the Buddhists say -- "change is the only constant". Yet 20 years out of 100, other than some of my tormentors living their lives out to a ripe age and dying of natural causes -- nothing has changed. I stopped believing in the future, and now life is like travelling the Sahara one barrel at a time: days flash by but nothing changes. Evil, indeed, does live long.
