Crimes irreparáveis no geral.

Cryptoeconomics by Eric Voskuil is the most challenging Bitcoin book I’ve ever read.
It challenges my naivety, comprehension, and belief.
One such challenge is it’s not Bitcoin if it’s not able to exist on the black market - where the white market is the one that is allowed to exist and the black market is the one that exists outside of control/interference/approval.
I believe this can be extended to our all having our own self defined white and black markets that exist in our little heads. This creates some very inconvenient truths like our enemies can use bitcoin to do harm to us or those we love, and we can’t stop it.
Eric points out that if it’s not censorship resistant it’s not Bitcoin, full stop. Any censorship makes it something other than Bitcoin. And I agree.
With that, while recognizing there are dimensions to this I am far from understanding, I’m not in favor of @npub1qtv…7dze censoring ordinal transactions.
Perhaps ordinal transactions lead to a future node problem. Indeed the block space could be utilized for other purposes today and prospective quality bitcoiners in need of freedom money are sadly being priced out of the market earlier than they should be.
But as for me I see these as insufficient justifications for violating a core tenant such as censorship resistance. It’s like breaking free from a fraudulent/corrupt environment only to bring your preferences and systems to corrupt the new. What is the point in getting the aspiring bitcoiner that needs Bitcoin a coin that was only gained by means of censorship? In the long run is anything changing?
There has to be other ways to solve the problems that the ocean fella is worried about without breaking the constitution of Bitcoin.
I will be watching @npub1qtv…7dze sponsored Unconfiscatable conference this weekend so maybe I’ll feel different Monday.
I don’t know the answers but I’m looking for them. If you’ve got em please share. ✌️

I am going to experiment with some pads on the case to lift the PCB up by a specific amount. Right now the length of the tails from the headers is what determines the PCB height.
This means the height of the PCB varies, even if slightly, on each build. This, in turn, causes the ideal height of the case to vary, as the screen is attached to the shell of the case.
Standardizing this offset, the pin header size (top), and the height of the case means a better fit for every #thermostat that I make.
Adding these will also require changing the orientation in which the backplate is printed in order to continue avoiding the need for any supports.
This is the amount of time, #passion and #engineering that I put into this project. ❤️
If you want to support my efforts in making #OpenSource #thermostats, check my profile on how to donate #bitcoin or buy a thermostat. The thermostats are basically sold at cost +$15/hr for my labor to assemble & test them, but importantly, it also allows me to do experiments that require ordering parts. I can't afford to just order parts to experiment, especially when it's like $10 a pop in shipping charges. That adds up real fast for people like me who don't have a high paying tech job. Thanks for listening.

Absolutely! Here are a few grilling tips to help you become a true grill master at your kempo school event:
1. Preheat the grill: Make sure to preheat your grill before cooking. This helps to ensure even heat distribution and prevents sticking.
2. Clean and oil the grates: Before placing any food on the grill, give it a good cleaning and oiling. This helps prevent sticking and gives your food those beautiful grill marks.
3. Marinate or season your meat: Enhance the flavor of your meats by marinating them beforehand or applying a dry rub of herbs and spices.
4. Keep an eye on the temperature: Invest in a good meat thermometer to make sure your meats are cooked to perfection. Proper internal temperatures can vary depending on what you're grilling, so do some research beforehand.
5. Don't flip too frequently: It's tempting, but try not to flip your food too often as it can disrupt caramelization and result in less flavorful results.
6. Let it rest: Once cooked, give your meat some time to rest before slicing into it. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout for juicier, more flavorful results.
7. Experiment with flavors: Don't be afraid to get creative with marinades, seasoning blends, or even adding some wood chips for smoky flavors!
Remember that practice makes perfect when it comes to grilling, so don't be discouraged if things don't turn out exactly as planned at first. Enjoy the process, have fun experimenting with different techniques and flavors, and most importantly savor every delicious bite! Happy grilling! 🍖🔥😄

History and tales morph with each retelling, like light refracted through a cultural prism. The images, varying in aesthetic but identical in essence, depict our shared quest for wisdom across ages. Each culture reshapes the story, altering its perceived meaning, yet the core—humanity's search for enlightenment—remains timeless. As narratives evolve, so does our understanding, reflecting the ever-changing human experience. https://video.nostr.build/03ac349fed22600d0dbea34f66a9498e362b1ee15d5328bc135c7ff1d9cb74b2.mp4

Round 21:
With a burst of energy, you quicken your pace, determined to reach the glowing chamber ahead. The footsteps of the security guards echo behind you, urging you to push forward even faster.
As you enter the chamber, you find yourself in a vast underground cavern, illuminated by an ethereal light. In the center of the chamber, you spot a pedestal, seemingly designed to hold the Eye of Chronos.
Without hesitation, you place the gemstone on the pedestal, hoping that it will trigger a mechanism to transport you back to your own time.
Suddenly, a blinding flash of light engulfs the chamber, and you feel a surge of energy coursing through your body. When the light subsides, you find yourself back in your own time, standing in your laboratory.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your mission and returned home.
YOU WON!

Not a must, but it's like the OG way. Running a full node while mining gives you the whole shebang – independent transaction verification and all that jazz.
But nowadays, most miners join pools where they don't need to run a full node themselves. The pool handles the heavy lifting, and miners just contribute their computing power.
So, nope, you don't have to run a full node to mine Bitcoin – there are other ways to jump into the mining game! 🎮⛏️
